Precision Bell Crank Levers for High-Speed DTY & Texturising Machines
BELL CRANK LEVER (BCL)
FOR TEXTURISING MACHINES
Engineered for smooth yarn guidance, reduced yarn breakage, and reliable performance in high-speed texturising operations.
Lunar Enterprise manufactures precision Bell Crank Lever (BCL) assemblies for False Twist Texturising Machines used in DTY yarn production. Designed to withstand continuous reciprocating motion, our BCLs ensure stable yarn movement, secure ceramic guide positioning, and consistent machine performance.

What is a Bell Crank Lever?
A Bell Crank Lever (BCL) is a yarn-guiding component used in false twist texturising machines. It guides the partially oriented yarn (POY) through the texturising process while maintaining proper yarn path and tension.
Since the assembly operates under continuous reciprocating motion and vibration, the Bell Crank Lever plays a vital role in ensuring smooth yarn movement and minimizing friction-related yarn damage.

Why Bell Crank Levers Are Critical in Texturising Machines
In modern DTY manufacturing, machine speeds continue to increase. Under such conditions, even minor defects in yarn guidance can result in:
-
Frequent yarn breakage
-
Production downtime
-
Reduced machine efficiency
-
Increased wastage
-
Higher operating costs
"A partially oriented yarn is prone to breaking during texturising process. The failure of ceramic guide on bell crank lever is one of the major causes of yarn breakage"

Common Problems with Conventional BCL Assemblies
Ceramic Guide Dislodgement
Continuous vibration can loosen or damage ceramic guides, exposing the yarn to metal surfaces.
Yarn Abrasion
Direct contact between yarn and metallic surfaces can increase friction and yarn breakage.
Wear and Fatigue
High-speed reciprocating movement subjects the BCL to constant mechanical stress.
Reduced Production Efficiency
Frequent replacement and maintenance can affect machine productivity.
BCL IN TEXTURISING MACHINE

BCL is connected to the spindle assembly which reciprocates at approximately 750 RPM, creating high vibration. It guide the partially oriented yarn (POY) through metal strip with ceramic guide to the twisting unit
